A paradise among the hills
I am Silvano Vigni, and I was born in this place. As a child, I used to ride horses on this farm with a dream to fulfill: “to run the Palio di Siena.” In July 1978, the Contrada della Selva gave me this opportunity, I ran my Palio, and I finished first at the Bandierino... I won. From that day on, I will always be “Bastiano,” and my dream had finally come true.
Now, I have another dream to realize: to let you discover the land that has given me so much and that I still cultivate with great love.
The Agriturismo Le Crete is located between Asciano and Siena, surrounded by stretches of clayey hills almost devoid of tall vegetation, a lunar landscape that, once known, will remain in your heart, that of the wonderful Crete Senesi.
The restored farmhouse consists of four apartments furnished in Tuscan style, with exposed beams, where you can spend a completely relaxing vacation, with a view of a panorama that stretches endlessly. The morning training of racehorses and the rhythms dictated by the land will let you experience the reality of a true farm estate. An ideal place for nature lovers, photography enthusiasts, hikers, and those who enjoy mountain biking.
