Life Park
The Crete Senesi Life Park is a large, continuously evolving widespread park.
It is spread over the entire territory of the Municipality of Asciano, located in the center of Tuscany, with direct access from the City of Siena through the village of Arbia. White roads and paths intertwine in a unique place in Italy.
Here you can go hiking, biking or horseback riding, participate in sporting events or other unforgettable experiences.
One of the principles of the Park is to respect Nature and the environment: that is why the trails can also be reached by public transportation, to experience an eco-friendly vacation!
The paths
Asciano
This route will take you along a path trodden by ancient millers, and crossing a river with its ‘barrage’, you will arrive near an important parish church with a great mystery. Continuing into the countryside outside the village, you will walk like a pilgrim along a path that, among churches and nature, will give you peace and relaxation.
Camposodo (Arbia)
This easy route brings to life an atmosphere of times gone by: Arbia, a small village born spontaneously from the industriousness of its inhabitants, represents the genuine rural landscape of yesteryear!
Montalceto
From the gentle hills that embrace the village of Asciano, encountering traces of the ancient Etruscan people who lived in these lands, you will reach an unexpected promontory that holds rare historical testimonies: an ancient place of prayer and a medieval watchtower!
