Camposodo – Arbia
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere
The route begins at the Arbia railway station. Just after leaving the town, along the provincial Lauretana road, take a white road on the right and follow it until you reach a fork where an ancient tabernacle is located. From here, turn right and pass through the beautiful landscapes of the Biancane di Camposodo, before returning to the village of Arbia.
What you'll see along the way:
- The gentle hills of the Crete Senesi
You'll discover a postcard-like landscape. Gentle hills that change with the seasons: green in spring, golden in summer, brown, gray, and occasionally purple in autumn and winter; a clayey-sandy terrain with excellent qualities for wheat cultivation! The Biancane di Camposodo Geosite
A protected natural area, featuring Biancane: small white domes made of clayey-sandy earth dating back to the Pliocene!
Note: This is a protected area! It is prohibited to climb or step on the Biancane. Help us preserve them and keep them healthy!
