The roots of the farmhouse go back to the 1600s: during the Renaissance era, it was entirely built with bricks handmade from its own furnace, with the participation of Pietro Montini, the author of the decorations on the theater and the cathedral of Siena.

In the past, Il Poggiarello was one of the properties of Count Piccolomini, a descendant of Pope Piccolomini. The four apartments of Agriturismo Il Poggiarello, in perfect Tuscan rustic style, are spacious and equipped with all comforts. The splendid pool with hydromassage overlooks the vineyards of Tenuta Il Giardino.
